The Button Hat

Locally made hat from some of our most loved fabrics. Designed with a relaxed, unstructured fit, the Button Hat takes inspiration from military headwear.

A button closure at the back allows the hat to be resized across a wide range of fits, making it easy to adjust and wear comfortably. The repurposed plastic brim gives the hat a flexible, unstructured shape that can be moulded and shaped to your liking.

Finished with a linen lining for comfort and breathability. A simple, versatile piece of slow fashion designed to be worn, shaped and made your own.

Handcrafted in Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia using vintage sewing machines.

This product is made to order. Meaning, once your order is received, we will start hand making the garment.

Care for me, as you do yourself
Due to the handmade nature of this garment, we recommend spot cleaning or gentle handwashing to preserve its longevity. Hang to dry and use a medium heat steam iron if needed.

Naturally dyed garments should be washed separately and handled with care. These dyes will fade over time—much like your favourite pair of selvedge denim—and should be cared for accordingly.
